Bruce Blair
Bruce was born and raised in Auckland and in his late teens decided to go to Southland to start exploring NZ.
He started in the Service Station Industry in Invercargill and was the youngest manager of the time for Todd Service Stations Europa Brand.
Most of his adult life has been in the Service Station/Vehicle Servicing Industry and owning his own business for over 20 years until his early 50s when a change of career was decided on.
Bruce was also involved in the “Not For Profit” Health Sector for a number of years as Chairman of the NZ Coeliac Society of which he is still a member.
From the change in career came a venture into Safety Surfacing which has developed into Douglas Blair Ltd now comprising MaintenancePro, Birdpro, Viropro & Groundartpro.
Adrienne Blair
Adrienne was born and raised in Christchurch and moved with her family to Invercargill in her mid-teens.
She started working in Pharmacy and became a fully qualified Dispensary Technician staying in that career until only several years ago.
As Douglas Blair has developed and has become busier Adrienne has gone from a part time office lady to a full time office manager.
Adrienne is multi- skilled and is certainly not afraid to learn new and wonderful changes that take place in business today.
She will at times assist on jobs usually in H&S roles but is not afraid to actually get stuck in when required.
